Autumn approaches…

Later in the day, it got hot again, but in the morning? It was crisp
and clear and the skies were blue, blue, blue.

And the milkweed is getting ready to pop. Hard to imagine, but
even here in the Almost South, fall will be here before we know it.

The light is changing, too. It’s still intense at times, but there’s a
softness about it that says things will change soon. Again.

I’m getting used to change. Finally. It doesn’t surprise me anymore.
What I do find shocking, at times, is the speed. Things are moving so
quickly, it’s almost dizzying…
