Living is a form of not being sure,
not knowing what next or how.
The moment you know how
you begin to die a little.
The artist never entirely knows.
We guess.
We may be wrong,
but we take leap after leap
in the dark.
~ Agnes de Mille ~
This is the way Pema Chodron begins her new book, “Living Beautifully with Uncertainty and Change”. A book she wrote about “a way of relating to the impermanent, ever-shifting nature of our life experience, as a way of using our everyday experience to wake up, perk up, lighten up, and be more loving and conscious of other beings.”
A book I sincerely hope is widely, widely read. So much good, from a women who has taught me so much about living this life.

Oh, yes. Clearly I need to get this book. Immediately.

Uncertainty is always present. So is Love. One helps the other. Loving this and all her work has impacted me greatly. She is a great reminder that “We fall apart to come together”…xxooAli

thanks for the heads up, Christa.
one of my favourite Pema quotes is… “Our wisdom is all mixed up with our neurosis. Our brilliance, our juiciness, our spiciness, is all mixed up with our craziness and confusion”
